Marketing Exec / Senior Marketing Executive

Location: Battersea, London

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a marketing executive / senior marketing executive to join BSpoke Tours, a London-based cycling and activities tour operator with ambitious growth plans over the next 3-5 years.

This role will report into the Head of Marketing working closely with the Head of Activities and will be responsible for executing the marketing strategy, working across both direct and digital marketing channels.

The marketing executive will be responsible for the implementation of multi-channel marketing campaigns on time and to budget. This will include website management, email marketing, CRM, PPC, SEO, PR, social media & content and direct mail.

You will be responsible for the delivery of creative for promotional campaigns from concept through to final sign off and will have the opportunity to create campaign content in an innovative, forward-thinking environment.

A key asset will be a passion for all things creative, a ‘can do’ attitude and the ability to multi-task and prioritise workload in order to achieve deadlines.  An interest in travel is important - even more desirable would be experience of activities and cycling based holidays.

Key skills and attributes

  • Three to four years marketing experience, preferably within the travel industry
  • A good understanding of the role of marketing and brand communications
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to multi-task and consistently hit deadlines
  • Copywriting for both on and offline material, understanding of SEO would be beneficial
  • Ability to learn and work with email delivery systems and Content Management Systems
  • Ability to manage creative process from concept through to final design/build
  • Numerate and capable of working with data
  • Self-starter and quick learner who will pick up new software easily
  • Photoshop, InDesign, HTML, CSS skills would be a bonus

Senior Sales Executive

Department: BSpoke Tours and Cycling for Softies

Location: Battersea Studios, London

We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Sales Executive to join the sales team in our cycling holiday division.

BSpoke Tours and Cycling for Softies are our two cycling and walking holiday brands with tours across Europe in Italy, Croatia, Portugal, Austria, Slovenia, France and Germany. BSpoke Tours and Cycling for Softies are summer sister companies to Ski Solutions, a leading winter sports tour operator.

We are looking for an enthusiastic sales expert with 1-2 years’ experience within travel, who is keen to further develop their career and support the growth of the activities holiday division.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Responding to all telephone and email sales enquiries within agreed timescales from direct customers and travel agents
  • Ensuring that all leads are followed up and a high conversion rate of bookings is achieved in relation to targets
  • Provide expert advice and customer service
  • Accurate processing of bookings on the reservation system
  • Administration of cancellations and amendments to bookings
  • Assist in training and the support of sales and administration staff
  • Jointly responsible for the distribution of email and live chat enquiries
  • Responsible for producing weekly update reports on the team’s lead pipelines
  • Weekend shifts to cover sales and operational calls (on a rota basis)
  • To provide temporary overseas representative cover as required
  • Liaising with suppliers to confirm and amend bookings and transfers
  • Dispatching client documentation
  • Assisting in product and price loading
  • Maintain a high level of product and competitor knowledge
  • Any other task or duty as required by the business

If you are a bright, enthusiastic individual with solid customer service and sales experience and are looking for a new challenge, this could be the position for you. Due to the nature of the work, a passion for cycling is essential.

Role and Responsibilities
