The Serengeti, Kilimanjaro, Zanzibar, the Mikumi Reserve, the Ngorongoro Crater, Tanzania, as an adventure holiday destination, has endless possibilities, amazing wildlife and outstanding natural beauty.
The views at the top of Kilimanjaro, the highest free-standing mountain in the world and highest overall in Africa, are completely worth the time and effort. Whilst the climb is tough, it isn't technical and little-used trails are used throughout to ensure a comfortable journey as possible. At ground level, experiencing the migrations in the Serengeti during the first part of the year is equally as rewarding.
The magical islands of Zanzibar in the east offer fishing, swimming with dolphins, snorkelling among many other activities. Stone Town also has a rich and interesting history, with beautiful beaches to the north and east and huge amounts of character running through its streets.
The ultimate challenge. Stand on top of the world on Africa's highest mountain. The Rongai Route is a much less crowded trail.
