This Month we’ve been celebrating French February and we have been offering up to £100 off of selected French cycling tours. France is an amazing country full to the brim with breath-taking scenery, iconic architecture, exquisite food and wine as well as, and of course, brilliant cycle routes. BSpoke prides itself on having cycle tours through some of the best French regions; from the rolling lavender fields of Provence to the long winding river Loire in the Loire Valley. Rivers of the Loire
Our Rivers of the Loire tour is for those looking to venture on a leisurely cycling route alongside the picturesque, meandering river Loire. You will start your journey in the city of Blois cycling westwards along the riverside passing quaint, sleepy towns and villages until you finally arrive in the welcoming town of Saumur. This cycling route will take you to many amazing chateaux dotted along the riverside such as the beautiful Château de Chambord and historic Château Chenonceau; there will also be opportunities to stop and sample the fine wines produced in the region or explore Amboise, Leonardo Da Vinci’s resting place, and Villandry, with its Château famed for its extensive and beautiful gardens.
Road Cycling in Provence
Provence is one of France’s cycling heartlands, this tour will give you the best of both a challenging cycling experience and a scenic and serene holiday through one of France’s most spectacularly beautiful regions. You can expect to be cycling up and down a range of mountains and gorges, including summiting Mont Ventoux if you feel up for the challenge. The majestic landscapes are coupled well by the wonderful towns within it, stop and admire some of the little hill-top villages where the local cuisine and French café culture is at its best.
Bordeaux City & Vineyards
Bordeaux is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and famous for its world-class gastronomic cuisine, rich and intricate history and of course, its plethora of incredibly fine wines. Bordeaux as a city is filled with many monument historiques with over 360 incredible sights to marvel at, only Paris has more. This tour also gives you the opportunity to visit some of the wine appellations where the fine wines of Bordeaux are produced such as the UNESCO World Heritage Site of St Emilion with its sea of vineyards. Travel to Cadillac, where you can visit its 17th century château and have a picnic under the grape vines.
Loire Single Centre
For some, particularly families, having a hub that you can cycle to and from each day is the perfect sort of holiday. In our Loire Single Centre holiday, you will reside at the delightfully quirky Château de Candes in the charming village of Candes-St-Martin. The château has fantastically stylish accommodation with beautiful grounds to explore in the vicinity of the castle building. From your hub, you can cycle to the other châteaux dotted along the river Loire, or, to the attractions in some of the local towns such as the wonderful boutiques and bistros in the buzzing town of Saumur or the historic town of Chinon set on the banks of the Vienne river with its marvellous Château de Chinon.

Venture to the very edges of southern France right by the azure Mediterranean sea. The Canals du Midi tour will take you cycling along the tree-lined paths of the canals, through ancient Roman cities to the Mediterranean coast.
